Why did society go wrong???

I have not been to school for days because of my mono, but I'm starting to do homework because if I don't I'll never finsih it all.
However, I have been passed information through the grapevine that is my friend Anna about our government class. Everyone was required to right a short bill on an issue that was important to them. A wrote a short paragraph about how unlawful the Partriot Act and that Congress should pass a law against making section 215 of the Patriot Act permanent.
Yet, despite all resonable logic my classmates strongly voted against it. They've somehow been conditioned to think that anyone who dislikes the partriot act is a some flag burning, athiest, terrorist etc.
Whatever. I'm mad.

"Paging Mr. Herman! Mr. Herman, you have a telephone call at the front desk!"

Well, I guess I'm on a Burton Binge or something because now I can't stop watching Pee-wee's Big Adventure".

This movie, as well as Pee-wee himself, are both aquired tastes. I grew up on the stuff. I always watched the TV show and even my parents were big fans. I was looking in the attic the other day and found a Pee-wee growth chart from when I was 5. It's goin' on the wall baby. I also remember being terrified of the movie when I was about that age because of the scene with Large Marge and the hospital smock-clad clowns in one of Pee-wee's dreams.

To me the film is chock full of great silliness, beautiful childlike music, and great direction. Things that really make me laugh are always good in my book. A childlike man in a red bow-tie scours the country in search of his stolen bike, believing he will find it in the Alamo. In the basement of the Alamo. Just you try and tell me that isn't funny.

I could go on about this movie all day but alas I am busy. Good day everyone.

"Why is everything here completely pointless?" "Candy doesn't have to have a point... that's why it's candy."

Well, this is my first post. I used to have a xanga but I slowly realized how awful it was so I had to dispose of it. On this blog I'll post about about whatever I find interesting at the moment.

I think it's about time I put my two cents worth on one of the biggest and most pointless debates of all time. It is of course, which is better, the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or the remake. *Drum roll* The remake wins by a landslide! Everything about the remake is better. The acting, the visuals, the music, better story, and it stays truer to the book.

I am the biggest fans of both Depp and Burton. I have been since I was two and saw Edward Scissorhands. I cannot wait for the release of the Corpse Bride. Check out the trailer -->
